Some of the most interesting images can only be captured when elements are enlarged beyond their natural appearance. By magnifying our view, dynamic textures and previously unknown qualities appear within both man-made and natural forms.

These images were obtained by placing found objects into a negative enlarger in a photographic dark-room. It was important that these were not totally opaque, as to create an image, light needs to penetrate through the object. These were then exposed (with a great deal of trial and error) onto monochrome photographic paper and developed.
